    Award Ceremony Corwin Shelton of Butt Construction was presented with the Dayton Builders Exchange Project Management Award for New Construction for the design/build alteration and addition to the Sensors Directorate Laboratory WPAFB.     Nov. 2013: Archer Western/Butt Construction JV Wins DBIA Award.

    The Design-Build Institute of America has awarded Butt Construction and its joint venture partner Archer Western the Civic Buildings Merit Award for the largest construction project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since World War II - the award-winning 680,000-square-foot Maj. Gen. Harry G. Armstrong Complex. This complex, multi-year project exceeded end-user requirements and was delivered 89 days early. [Learn more]

    Sep. 2013: Butt Construction builds success at base. Perhaps no company has had more success in landing work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base than Bill Butt in front of office Butt Construction Co. The 85-year-old company has been working at and for the base for 67 years, said Bill Butt Jr., the firmís president and co-owner. Butt has long appeared to excel at landing the projects that often go to bigger contractors, said John Morris, president of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, a trade organization.     May 2013: Lewaro/Butt joint venture share in $10 million contract. Teaming up again with Lewaro Construction Inc., BCC has landed a spot on a $10 million deal with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Lewaro/Butt joint venture was one of five companies named to the five-year umbrella contract construction and incidental service projects in the Corpsí Louisville District. Butt Construction Company is #7 on the Dayton BCC Ranks #7 for 2012 Business Journal's list of the top commercial construction companies in the Dayton area.     Apr. 2013: BCC on short list for National Guard base construction. A joint venture combining BCC with Lewaro Construction Inc. in Dayton was one of several Dayton-area companies that will get as much as $20 million during the next five years for construction work at National Guard bases across Ohio. It has come to our attention that Bill Butt, president of Butt Construction Company, has been quoted in the official U.S. Army Corps of Engineers alternative dispute resolution manual titled "Partnering!"     Feb. 2013: BCC joint venture to handle $9.7M Wright-Patt renovation. Butt Construction Co. teamed up with Lewaro WPAFB Entrance Sign Construction Inc. to win an 18 month contract to renovate a 17,000-square-foot research facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The project includes interior demolition; replacement of the electrical systems, plumbing systems, mechanical systems; reconfiguration of the space for new laboratories; and construction of a new mezzanine.
